CA smog sucks

i cant get my 91 b2200 to pass smog it runs fine but is getting to much fuel from what the smog print outs say. i rebuilt the carb and checked the vacume lines, i wish they made an aftermarket carb that passes smog.
i also heard something in the carb like a sencor or something that goes bad and causes it to dump fuel has any one had this problem?
