Gauge update in 1991 Chev C1500

Just wondering has anybody ever done a gauge update in a 1991 C1500 Chev fullsize to something like Autometer gauges. I thought about the Dakota Digital dash. I just want to make my dash a little different instead of white face gauge and some type of cover. Pictures would be great. Thanks for all the help.
