how to drop the frame horns on a b2000?

were bodydroppin my friends b2000. what the easiest way to go about droppin the frame horns? its like an 86. help asap would be appreciated.

take the radiator and every thing out and use a saw zaw.

haha yeah. their out side right now ill go see what they got goin. but where is the best place to cut at. right where the crossmember and the framehorn meet?

you got it snydecat.i would suggest welding a piece of steel to connect the two. then cut them. that will keep them spaced equally and pointing in the same direction.

noooo!! don't do it!! just cut the bumper brackets down and notch the front crossmember with a piece of 2" or 2.5" tubing where your lower radiator hose goes

then you can drop your body mounts down... it's much stronger and looks a hell of alot cleaner this way

are we not talking about the same thing as david? atleast i am, you dont want to lower the whole front crossmember just where the bumper bolts to and the front core support mounts. you will also have to notch for the radiator hose.
