s10 corner lights

i have a 99 s10 and i want to put in clear corners but i have the stock fog lights.can i still put in a 1 piece clear corner and just take of the fog lenses? or do i need to do the small lense one? i just seen a pic today and find it looks kinda crappy with the fog and little corner light
