SCOOTR needs motor help, what to fit under the hood

I need to know what is the biggest motor that I could fit in my truck, that has a good size cam where its close to sounding like a classic c10 with the truck loaping. Could a crate motor fit? I know an ls1 and lt1 can fit with stock hood, but any other good suggestions besides just building one from scratch? And it will be bodydropped so stock hood is out of the question, Id like to put a blower on it too. Pictures would be nice thanks

why is stock hood out oif the question. door it and do a ls1, should be able to fit stock hood no problem. just go the extra mile, its worth it

first off, not gonna door it....second, my body drop is traditional, so I will have to make new lowered motor mounts right? But I want the motor to have that classic sound though, so an ls1 im not sure. but that WILL fit, i know that much.

run a treefiddy w/ a holly projection setup on it.

I would put a 442 in it.

I fit a carb'd SBC in my sonoma with a stock hood. Running solid motor mount and mid plate.
