minitruckers in college?

so ive been really pondering pledging a frat this semester. ive had alot of the telling me theyd love for me to join and im guarenteed bids etc, but idk. any other minitruckers in frats or anything at their school. im already busy enough with other things and my real family is for sure. but this is just a small school and seems like everyone is part of the greek community.

get ready to never be able to go to shows while you are pledging or probably at all for the rest of your college life. frats take over your life. i almost joined one until i realized that i was at a small school so there was no reason to be in a frat cause they needed non-frat people to come to the parties so that there would be more than 30 people there

frat guys are typically douche bags and they make you pay to join. do you really want/need to pay for new friends?

I go to a small college but i don't think any of the frats at my school are worth joining or have anything that appeals to me. I play for the club volleyball team and i am now part of the American Foundry Society so i wouldn't have time for a frat.

I don't know about where you at, but at my school the frats are usually spoiled b*tches?

dude i just graduated with my bachelors and was in a fraternity. It is a great experience and you'll end up pretty much viewing them as your family. and i just started my masters and checked out my fraternity at the new school and they took me in with open arms. just like with truck clubs though make sure to find one that you like. as far as pledging it is just like having an extra class. after pledging though your fine and will have not problems as far as time goes.

I go to tennessee tech and i am a brother of Tau Kappa Epsilon(TKE)and it sounds like everyone knows the typical bullshit FRAT rumors. First of its not a FRAT its a fraternity, YOU DON'T CALL YOUR COUNTRY A CUNT, NOW DO YOU! i have been in a fraterity for a few years now and still able to enjoy the mini trucking scene! Fraternities do not take over your life and control you. i used to be anti-fraternity until i checked it out. i have made alot true friends and it is worth trying. i have had a lot of fun and experiences since i joined. i wouldn't change one thing about it. you don't understand it until you have experienced it!
