anyone ever use this stuff? how exactly do you connect it to the manifold? Is it more or less something you run some pipe down from the manifold and clamp this on? run it to the muffler and then your done or what? Is it even worth using?

The local place wants 200 bucks for 4 bends pretty much and this would me back 50 bucks. Anyone?

Buy some U-bends. Cut and weld them together the way you want.

They want like 40 bucks a PIECE........I may call the steel shop and see if it would be any cheaper that way.

I wanted to do that, if not for cost, just for the experience of doing my own.

Summit or jegs has bends cheaper than that. That flex stuff is junk!!

I got my U-bends from Summit for about $25 each in 2 1/4" which is an oddball size and is more expensive than 2" or 2 1/2".

the stuff I have no is 2 in OD, so ID....what would that be? 1 3/4 or 1 5/8?

edit: nevermind, I was reading it wrong. what does it mean by alluminized steel? should I just get ther regular steel, or is one better than the other, what about welding the "alluminized"? no different?

Exhaust tubing is measured by the OD.
