any suggestions on what to use on my sagging weather stripping? i have tried using the 3m adhesive but nothing wants to stick to the rubber.

go buy the real suff, you'll probably spend just as much money trying to jury rig something up. mine wore off in the corners of the bed and the paint is gone. Its down to bare metal. im saying screw it and its comin off and im sheetmetalin my bed.

You might try to use some 3m double sided tape. I think you will have better luck getting that to stick to the rubber and the tonneau cover.

Depends on what tonneau cover you have, it might be easier to get all new weather stripping and start over? I know Auto Zone and O'Reilly's has a few different kinds of weather stripping for camper shells that might work if it's right thickness.

I haven't seen to many tonneau covers that don't rub your paint off in time.

i sprayed many layers onto both the rubber and the top and eventually part starts to come back undone... its a snugtop fiberglass lid.

and as of right now no paint being worn off. i have some black spots from the rubber though
