I need some inspiration!

I want to see some pictures of factory tail light swaps in bare metal. Before any bodywork was done. I'm trying to visualize mine, and I just end up getting pissed and walking away.

lets see some pics(thats if u wana share). im pretty sure it cant be that bad, what frustrated you? if you warped it a lil bit, its nuthin a lil shrinkin and bondo wont fix

I do alright with the metal part. I'm just trying to visualize how to do it. The shape is a bit off and they're a little wider than my bed in some areas, and narrower than others.

Maybe I'll snap some pics and see if anyone has some ideas. I just get pissed off quickly and then I don't want to do anything to it.

And I haven't started yet really, just cut the area out.

here is what they look like on my 88 with those same tail lights. it might help to see it on the truck they are designed for.

Yeah I actually have about 1/4 of each bedside.

Looks like it might help if u drop em down even with that top bodyline Seth or maybe just a lil below like they fit on original truck??
