Hey guys some opinions would be appreciated. I puttin a 18 and 20 inch combo on my truck. I am going to run 18 by 8's in the front and 20 by 8.5 in the back. What size tires on these look right? Its not daily driven or anything but it does get driven and is being body dropped? Just dont know what sizes on the different sized rims will look right?

255 35 out back and maybe a 225 35 upfront? you could run a 40 series on the front if you wanted to

You think a 40 would look to fat compared to the 35 on the back. even though there smaller rims?

not really, i guess it depends on how hard your vehicle is going to tuck. if its going to be body dropped then i imagine the side wall will rarely be completely seen. a 215 35 18 is an option as well

The 40 and 35 , are the tyre wall height , measured as a percentage of the width , so if you step down a profile but got wider in the width the tyre , the tyre wall can still be the same size height.I know when i was looking at putting tyres on my steel 17 inch rims i knew they were only temporary until i got my 18 inch rims with a 225/45(25.97 overall tyre diameter) series tyre, but i wanted to get my truck lowered so i got a 225/50 series on my 17's (25.86 overall tyre diameter (not much difference))so it would still have the same ride height(Static Drop)and i could still have the same clearances........if you can understand my rambling.......what were we talking about again...........!

It's going to tuck hard and height is going to be an issue otherwise it may hit the hood. But right now I am thinking about running a 215/35/R18 and a 245/35/R20 ? Any opinions on this set up?

Yea I am running 14's with whitewalls and I have about the same room. Right now with it just laying frame. But a guy I know is also laying frame on 20's all the way around and he had to cut his hood braces? So I just want to make sure thier are no issues. I want to run a small tire to be safe.
