im new to the scene and i need some help understanding a couple of the terms. first can anyone explain true canalever (if thats how its spelled to me and second what does z'ing the frame mean ? any and all help would be appreciated! thanks

cantilever haha a true cantilever is complicated to explain will post pics to explain shortly. and z'ing your frame is where u cut your frame allow the back part of the frame to drop and then reconnecting it in which it makes the frame look like a z.

ok sweet thanks, but what about when some call it cantilever when the bag is placed between the between one of the link bars and the frame to get more lift is that cantilever also or no?

That would be a leverage advantage setup. Not technically a cantilever, but is similar.

sounds like a "bag over bar" setup...pretty common...definitely not a cantilever setup...if im picturing it right.

actually with taylors set up the bag does not push the rocker arm. the bag is for ride control only. the bag has an upside down mounted hydro cylinder through it that controls the lift

yeah, thats just a leverage setup. a lot of guys do that to get some extra travel in the rear. I am planning a revers leverage on my HB.
