i didn't know there was parts of arizona that doesn't require emissions...I had a car that failed emissions and i took it to a friend that owned a shop and he made me out a reciept for a repair that would fix it, and gave it to the emissions guy and he passed my car even though it failed again lol

That would be cool is its as easy as getting a P.O. box. But i heard you had to have proof of residency like a bill or something from your address.
I'm hoping someone on here knows more!

There are counties that do not require enissions. It is a offense though if you use the vehicle in Maricopa County.
Good luck with it, I will haev this issue soon myself.

"........ repair that would fix it, and gave it to the emissions guy and he passed my car even though it failed again lol.."
you can only do that once in your car's life time.
next year or even 2009 there will be statewide emissions, no more regestering somewhere and gettin away with it.
plus if you commute into phx, or surrounding areas, it better pass, or if you get pulled over, you will get hammered.
why not, try to get your truck to pass?
its not hard, try to tell us what you have, what it is failing on, and maybe we can help.
there are plenty of ways to pass, if your motor is junk and burning more oil than gas, there are easy fixes for that also
