was told by a couple guys that anything under an 80 cu^ft tank wasnt worth getting. I am getting to the point where I am going to need it for body work, and hopefully some frame work as well. So is it worth getting a 40 or should i wait it out and get an 80?

Also, to build a cart rack should I just get some decent size angle iron from a metal supply place, or should i use something more like 1x1 or the like with sheetmetal as the floor under the welder instead of it sitting on the angle iron? What would end up being a better mounting surface for the bottle as well?

if you are purchasing a cylinder from a welding supply store, might as well get like a 160 cu/ft tank, the price isnt going to be much different......

Will be doing the whole "buy from the store" deal.

Also, would anybody want to let me know the diameter of the tank, or does it differ between sizes?
