Aluminum Tonneau Cover

I wanted to make my own aluminum tonneau cover for my 90 toyota extra cab , has anyone done this before ? and any pics or tips would be greatly appreciated

Do you want the frame to be aluminum or the whole top? This sure would look sweet, should be similiar to any steel one that has been made.
Any other thoughts?

i had a piece of steel with a steel frame on my 87 yota. heavier than shit. but it didnt go anywhere and it was just sitting there.

you can MIG aluminum with the proper setup. I may try this as well in the future.

im goin to try to do a fibreglass one hopefully soon, well after my truck is painted.

i have one made by gem top i think they make one for that year also
