what to do?

I have had my truck at a shop for over 6 months, everytime i go there they say it will be done next week, the truck was to be painted and bodyworked for a show in March of 2007 and still no sign i gave the truck to him on Feb. 2nd, what should I do, I have no idea of what stage its at, he is very hard to find. Should I take legal action or what, thanks for any info.

man i no what ur talking about. my truck has been in the shop fo over a year now. they were supposed to put a 2007 caddy front end on my truck and some body work and a lil extra's but they take for ever. well have u made any payments yet. cuz ive already invested to much money that i putforth. and if i were to take him to court i would get my money back till like 6 months or even more. and puls i would have to cough of the money that i gave to him to give to somebody else right now. which i dont have right now. i guess just now that u wont get ur money back right away if u take him to court!

I don't own a shop but I believe shit like that happens a lot. SO much that I believe that shops think it is ok to do stuff like that. You just have to be married to a woman who takes care of you Just ask anyone who has ever touched my truck and they will tell you that it is probably better to do what I want to my truck and in a timely matter or else have to hear from the wife Being married does have its perks sometimes. You just have to put your foot down and don't let them tell you "just one more week"
