i want to keep my battery in the stock position, i mocked it up today and it looks like my computer will fit on my frame between the rad support and the control arms. will this work? it's only temporary, since i'm putting in a carbed 350 pretty sooon. please disregard any typo's, i'm drunk ofrf my ass.

relocate it under the dash, its safer there but you have to extend the wires little bit of work but worth it

do you have inner fenders (trailor fenders) or anything? if you do give me the measurement of the computer box.. height/width/lentgh and ill go out and get a tape measure and let you know if you cant mount it on the fender on mine they kept the abs near the stock location just mounted different

I know that the ABS has shit to do with the computer but who knows maybe the computer can be done the same way if in a water proof box

if you took your inner fenders out, your stock battery tray wont work. you will have to make a bracket to make it work, but why not just move it to the bed. I had the inner fenders out but kept the stock battery tray with some new brackets. When i had 17s on my truck i was leavin a show, i cut the wheel and it ripped my battery outa the truck.

i moved the battery to the bed, then mounted my computer to the core support where the battery used to be. Didnt have to extend any wires on the computer, just the battery cable to the bed.

yeah just got done making my battery tray for my bed and i was going to do my computer were the battery was i think the fuse block can move forward if you get a cold air kit i think the computer on the core support is the way to go

1. i can't relocate it behind the dash because i am in fact, keeping my a/c. i'd decided not to, but while at Barry's tubbing the firewall, turns out that he was making a stock a/c box to work with 20's for another friend of ours' 00 s10, and that guy ended up getting a vintage air system given to him, so we used his already cut airbox.

2. I really don't want to relocate the battery to the bed because right now there is nothing in the bed except the notch cover. I wanted a totally clean bed look. I thought about somewhere on the frame under the bed, but i really don't want to move it all the way to the back of the frame. And jeremy, i don't have trailer fenders yet, but i was thinking about getting some just to tack in until the bodydrop just so i can have someplace to put the computer until i put in the carbed 350. What about behind the bumper to relocate the battery? Looks like lots of room back there, and it'd be somewhat accessable.
