Paint and wheel advice needed

Ok.. I got this lil beater out of a field this guy has.. paid like 700 for it.. as you can see in the pics, theres some paint probs, and havin hell polishing up the front wheels.. i got mothers aluminum polish and the back one came out killer.. the front however SUCKS.. any advice on whats up with the paint, or how to get the wheels to look halfway decent is appreciated..

not gonna become a show truck, so not looking to repaint it...


or maybe i will one day

for the wheels get a good rouge metal polish, with a polishing wheel, and then use a white jewelers polish after that. Can usually get good polish and supplies at truck stops.

the paint, looks to me like a deteriorating clear coat, maybe a scuff and re-clear??

paint job is no good, sand it down and shoot with base and clear....

How much you wanna spend?

Por 15 makes a wheel polish kit for about 160.

I am not sure how good it is but with there rep I would say it is pretty good.
