stickers

this is not a "how do i get in a mag" thread, but whats the general reaction at shows if you have a magazine's sticker on your window? is it looked at as a sad photo attempt? or do they just know that you like the magazine?

thats what i wanted to hear, i dont wanna put the sticker on and look like im trying to get in the mag b/c of it, i just own a mile high stack of the books lol

Twice when I didn't have my truck but it went to shows someone from Truckin' put "Truckin'" stickers on my truck (because it cruised out with primedia to a couple shows), 1st a little one on the back window, the 2nd time the huge windshield banner. The windshield banner I scraped off before even taking back the keys to my truck after not having it for 2 months. It wasn't even put on straight. There's actually a picture of the guy putting it on my truck on their website. If I want a sticker on my truck, I'll put it on there.

he put a sticker on YOUR truck? that would piss me off. and that sticker is HUGE, people would think you work there lol

Guy's here it what I was told by one of the mags that shot my truck. If you put our decal on your truck, no one else will shoot it. I put both the Streetrucks and Truckin' decals on my truck anyway (which had no decals on it at the time of either shoot) and no one has wanted to shoot it since. Not saying anyone wants too, but makes ya think. I just scraped all the media stickers off my truck last weekend. Looks alot cleaner now anyway. I think if you want to show support for them, do like I did and just make a poster of the shoot and display it by your ride. That way your truck is clean of the decals. Just my 2 cents.
