sealant?

I finished my cab floor and I want to coat the underside of my cab with something that is heat resistant and will deaden the noise a little bit. I was thinking of just buying some roll on rhino lining and doing it but I figured there may be something better out there. Anybody?

rhino lining is good, but dont roll it on. Go buy a texture gun for it. Something with a 1/4 " spray nozzle. POR 15 makes something you can roll on i think. Didn't seth use it on his truck?

seriously though i think seth just brushed on the por15 and if your thinking rhino lining type stuff the roll on crap is herculiner which if i remember correctly is the same stuff that the guy on the ford 4x4 fourm got on his wang and said it burnt like hell.
also have you thought about just seam sealing it and using a dynomat type product instead of truck bed liner?
so important point to follow in this post

2. herculiner is designed to roll on but try not to get it on your wang

i had to raise my tranny tunnel like 8 inches, so i think dynamat would be quite tricky to lay, so at the moment, the rhino line or herculiner stuff is going to be my carpet.

Check out Fatmat.com they have some brush on linner that is cheap and for that type of shit. They gave me some and I love it. May have some left over can sen to you.

yeah i think Seth POR 15s random shit in his spare time just for shits and giggles!!

i do to so what id brush on some por 15(dont get it on ur wiener either) then undercoat or whatever u want to on top of it.

I would spray it with some metel etch primer and then buy a spray in truck liner kit that comes with the gun and do the whole floor. Stay away from the Herculiner, I used gator guard on the last truck I did.
