Ive only been in the seen for about 5 yrs now and the only show I can really attend is ITB cuz my work place is a bunch of A**Holes about attendance. I was just curious what the editors look for when at shows to grace the pages of the Mags ? And also curious what % of Under Construction you're ride has to be in to make the Construction Zone ?

It depends. Are you looking for a feature or just your pic in the show section?

For a feature, you truck needs to stand out above the rest. And not in a bad way. Everyone always asks what does it take to get featured/or make the cover? The guy are gonna tell you this: "Read the mag"

Look whats in the magazine, if your truck is as good or better, you have a shot.

That pretty much goes the same for the show section, if your truck stands out more than the other trucks, you have a good chance.

SO READ THE MAG!! Then you can see what it takes. Hope this helps.

Your truck doesn't have to be that far along to get into the CZ. Look at mine. It was in there with no interior, no bodywork, no bodymods, basically just suspension and a bodydrop. Shit it didn't even run.

Build your truck how you want it. if a magazine likes it as much as you do, well then even better. I hate these "what do I need to do to get a feature?" threads. Do what you need to do to build yourself the truck you want.

That's what I'm saying.

If your looking for a feature then your truck really needs to stand out. Clean also helps. And I don't just mean keep the dust off I mean any welds or body work or anything like that needs to be flawless. As far as just getting a snap of your truck then you need to check out the shows the mags check out. Its really hard to get in the mag if you only go to classic car shows....if you catch my drift.

Do not put a bunch of trophies or display in front of your truck. Make sure a good 3/4 shot can be made.

You can build the truck the way you want to while still catering to what judges and magazines want. Originality and cleanliness go a long way.
