just starting a build someone else butched!!!i'm 4 linking the rear but need to find the right pinion angle again for my drive height, its all out of wack right now and they cut the front springs

It depends on the angle of the drive shaft coming out of the trans.
If you shaft comes out @ 3*, then you match it on the other end.

Question on that if the drive shaft is already out what do you do? I got a truck like that and not sure what to do.

You dont measure the driveshaft you measure it on the tail shaft of the transmission. So for example if your tailshaft is pointed down (-) 2 degrees you want the pinion angle +2 degrees

Measure the tailshaft of the transmission with an angle finder. Put it flat on end. It will likely be between 2 and 5 degrees. You can also measure off the front of the motor and it will be the same. Use one of the front pulleys to measure off of.

i always wondered what the right way was.. thanx .the ujoints are already shot from poor angle to start with.don'y want to repeat the problem
