What's a Watts...

Any one here know what are the advantages or why I would want a watts link installed? Also, could a watts link be used in conjunction with a 4 link?

What's the point of it, what does it do? Is this how three wheel motion is achieved?

it doesnt HAVE to be used in conjuction with a 4 link. You can use them in conjunction with a 2 link or a parallel 3 link and the only 4 link that needs one is a parallel 4 link.

A watts link keeps the axle centered while driving. if not then your rear end would sway all over the road. It is just a locating device. Same as a track bar or pan hard bar.

So what's the key into performing three wheel motion w/ a 4link?
