Im tubbing my 1st gen S10 and you know when water gets inside the cowl then drains off threw those tunnels on the side out the bottom of the fender. Well ive cut into those and now it doesnt have anywhere for the water to go and could reroute to the inside of the cab if i dont seal it off. Have you guys ran into this prob? Cuz if i do seal it off then it will just end up filling overtime with rain and when i wash it. I hope this makes sense. Kinda hard to explain.

Shave the hole where the water goes in. I did that on my truck when I cut up into the cowl for my brake pedal. Just seal the underside of your welds.

Seal off the cowl? Or re-route the vent with tube to somewhere else? My cowl is part of the cab..

whats up drew, this is carl. i believe i have talked to you a bit on myspace. i am friends with beth. can fab the drain into the tubs so that it just drains out on the inside of the fender. or make a new drain in the engine compartment.

i figured it out, i just basically had to make my own water drain tunnel from the cowl so it wont leak inside the truck

i wasnt bout to weld it shut so the water couldnt go anywhere, i would have a cowl pool

you can also just weld up the two square holes under the cowl
