on a fullsize is having the upper bars at 25 degrees gonna be enough to keep it from shifting at all?

if your talking triangulation, 25 degrees each way from the centerline should be ok. 25 degrees total, no good

You can easily get away with 25 deg (from center,) but you will need to take into consideration the stresses that are applied to the tabs when the vehicle is cornering. Just make sure the mounting points are beefy and you should be okay.
