H22 VTEC

I might be barking up the wrong tree but wth. Anyone know where I can get this motor with an automatic trans for a good price? if anyone has one local I might be able to trade a tan 96 4 door accord for the motor and install

did they make h22's automatic? or was it the h23 they made auto? h23 is dohc non vtec out of an accord i belive. goodluck

they made h22 vtech autos...

check honda-tech.com or some other honda forum....seen them cheap there...

or u could get lucky an find one at a junk yard...

While im here I might as well steal my own thread, does anybody know where I can find the cheapest NEW window motors for a 96 accord? Ive been looking and the cheapest I found was 136 and some change.

Yes.

And the H series motor is from a prelude, not an Accord. The accord has the f22 in 90-97 and the f23 in 98+ models.

A few years back, I have a service tech friend of mine at the local honda dealership get me my drivers side window motor for around $50ish. So go make friends at the dealership.

depends on if you wand a JDM or USDM h22... i bought my H22 off ebay with wiring harness for like 1300 shipped...i know with 5-speeds you can use the accord tranny so im assuming that you dont need the prelude tranny either u should be able to use your accord tranny...(and ive boughten accord power window motor assemblies off ebay as well for cheap)

Complete h22a4 swap. $800 picked up in NYC, but you may be able to get him to ship it and save a lot of money over paying $1300+ on eBay.
