Upper Balljoint Binding

Well I was finally able to get the frontend down some more and now I've run into the bad situation of the upper balljoint binding when it's laid out. Does anyone have any suggestions on this or does the control arm flip take care of it??

notch the upper control arm, bend it, weld it back together.

is it keeping you from laying out or does it just look like its so angled it binding up?
