s10 hood clearance

just got my s10 back, stock hood wont fit. its a v6 with the tbi intake. what options do i have for the hood, other than a cowl? could i do a custom intake or would that really help? tia ray

I had a 4.3 tbi also, you are going to either put a cowl on like i did or lower your engine not much you can do about it the only cold air intake that you can use that i have found is a volant and that still dosnt make it clear the hood. good luck
