ive got 3/8th;s smc valves and a 175 psi pressure switch. everything works perfectlly as long as you arent driving it. when i drive it lifted with a full tank the truck will dump but will not raise back up in the rear and sometimes the front. it is like there is to much back pressure on the valves to open and let the air in. i know this has to be it because i let air out of the drain cock uin the tank and just a little bit and it raises rite up every single time. you can imagine how bad this sucks when you are dragging and cant lift it up. anyone have this problem and if so what did you do to fix it and also is there a better valve that i could get and trash these pieces of shit? IT IS NOT ELECTRICAL it has to do with the pressure not letting the valve open.thanks

try running 150psi. I believe that too much pressure will not allow the valves to open correctly. so yeah...turn down the psi switch or get one with a max of 150.

gc250s, there have been some trouble with the older ones, but they have a very good team of people that run this company, and unlike other valve manufacturers, they continue to up their testing to make sure fewer defective pieces get through, and improve on what needs improvement. www.gravity-werx.com

I had the same problem with mine, I just lowered the pressure down and it worked fine, never had another problem again!

I am having the same troubles with mine...I thought the same thing psi to high. I am going to back it down and see what happens.

If you think these valves are shit i will trade you 1/2 in. GC 250s for your smcs....

I've been runnin' the 3/8's SMC on my monte for alomst 3 years now and have had 0 problems. I've kept 250+ psi in my tanks and still not a problem.

yeah, make sure they aren't backwards that will cause you problems. I also run SMC's in three trucks and have for almost 4 years with no problems at all.

they are not backwards if they are backwards they either wouldnt lift or wouldnt dump. i know how to install valves i have done it for years...lol...it is a problem with the air ressure ont he valve.
