HELP: Looking for 1951 Mercury Convertible model...

I'm a novice to toy model car collection and am looking for my father in law.  I have no idea where to even begin to even determine if a die cast model was even created for this year/ model.  Any advice regarding forums, chat rooms,  blogs, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
