So my Budy Seth (marbles) Comes to me and and says, " Hey I want to take my step side ranger and make it look like a dually. Then I want to stuff some FAT Ass wheels under the back of it. Oh and shave it shut, Oh and put in a wood bed floor, oh and ...Oh and...."
Here is the story of the 8 month build. Oh and it will not be a true dually. It will just have huge ass wheels tucked up in the back.
Here is How it came to me
Mock Up....
 Composite Sides, Steel Inside...
Brackets + a Wood Spacer, and some grinding...
Oh there is my baby...
My Fat ass laying up some molds of the bed for the shaved gas door and the cab for the step shaver.
 Yep 20 x 10's wil fit!
 Molds off
Making a mold of the tailgate for the rear shaver.
Using Molds...
Tailgate Mold.
I know it looks Silly but it actually worked well! The small sticks made it align with the cab really well and held it there while I glasses it in. Also I did rough up the body, the resin just makes it look shiny in the pick.

Start the Roll Pan. We started with a used fleet side fiberglass pan, cut 90% of it out and Replaced what we needed. The tail lights are out of a Mazda 6.
We did not make the wood floor. But If you need one made I got a guy...
Hinged? Oh yeah now its a trunk.

At the Painters. I will not lie I am no body man. So I get the body work about 90% there and hand it off. Rodney Bice took over and finishe the body work including fixing some things that were wrong with the cab and put this thing into light grey primer. Seth is going to roll like this for a season just to watch for cracks and problem areas. This way we can fix it before paint!
Getting Gas! LOL
