Jey you wuss! My shoulder cap going up my neck and over my colar bone along with around the elbow and in the ditch where the most sinsative for me. Just the shoulder cap alone was 4 1/2 hours with no breaks and my arm has a couple 4-5 hour sections as well. I'm getting more in my arm/shoulder tomorrow so we'll see how much more it all ties together. My dragon on my back was 4 hours just with lining and shading. But everyone has different pain threasholds and locations that hurt more then others. I try tipping my tattoo guy but he never takes it from me. So one time I just gave it to his wife..

ya like everyone else said..it all depends on what u can take as far as pain..i think i have a pretty high tolerance. The best way i can describe it is shaving w/ a REALLY hot razor..good luck w/ it tho...

Not that bad, I've got a few, most painful was inside of the arm, second was the top of the foot.

dawg pimp thats a sick tattoo. Not a big fan of Spidie, but the tat is done very nicely.....you should add some shading under him to make him look "off the skin" AND ON THE REAL.......TATTOO'S DO HURT...TRY ONE ON YOUR RIB CAGE/STOMACH.

not only do they only get a % of what they charge, they have to pay for their own supplies..ink, needles, paper towels, stensils, etc, etc, ....SO TIP THEM!! Originally posted by STUD1Y

^^^ werd, I'm on my 3rd one now, just got it the other day, got plenty more in the works, and still trying to finish one. T all my guys that have'em, me and a friend of mine got into an arguement on whether or not to tip the artist, I myself have a certain guy I go to and only him, I usually tip about 20 on top of what he charges, my buddy says he doesn't tip at all, what do you do?
you should always tip.they only make a % of what you pay them... and the shop makes the rest. so like a new tattoo guy makes like 35% a established one might make 45% ... so tiping is a good thing.
