ok,so from notch to notch its 47",find the center.so half of 47 is 23.5.23.5 on the left side and 23.5 on the right and multiply 23.5 by 2 to find the total tubing length??? i just used 90 degrees and 47" for an example,see i wanting to get bends like this but their has to be a mathematicial equation to it right?

good point,but ain't their a measurement scale??and not nessecerily a 90 degree bend,maybe 1 like180 degrees or 37 degrees??

The bombs aren't actually that thick. I worked in a shop that restored WWII Jeeps and Willys, and there were a lot of those hanging around, fromt he 40s to the 60s era bombs. None where any thicker than 1/8" cast iron. They're heavy sure, but they're designed to shatter. And the glass thing isn't a great idea.. It wouldn't be able to withstand the pressure. Now, if you wanted to make an oil pan or valve covers that way, I think that would be badass. Especially the valve covers, seeing the valves working as the motor runs.

since the os is going bad,the camshaft position sensor,has to retard it self or advance its self for the o2 being bad,so it won't cause detonation,or thats what i have been told,i could be wrong

yeah i would try and change out the o2 sensor first,the o2 senor ,when goes bad,starts a chain reaction with the motor,happened to my cuz's blazer,same make and model but his was 4wd

A mac computer, modded xbox, and a fully custom dash. I have 2 15" touchscreen LCDs going in also. That project is about 70% completed. I have all the parts, just working on all of the fiberglass. I would appreciate any other comments people have. It is support (whether negative or positive) which keeps me a moddin. thanks guys!

the high spots can be taken down ALITTLE by a trick i call "Heat it and beat it"heat it up with a cutting torch to where it gets a rell almost burgundy red then hit it with a hammer litely, i.e as you heat up metal it expands as you hit it and it cools it contracts,ive did this a couple of times .

yeah keep ever step clean,use a cleaning solvent after ever sanding step,you can get by with rubbing alchol,just take your time and have patience, ... ... ...auto air doesn't release any hazard vapors also,it doesn't have any VOC's. its water based,real easy to clean up(equipment),real easy to apply,no special curing times,use a heat gun or heat lamps,and its dry,

is this a pro shop gonna paint it or back yard type??brands (me personally) i go with Auto Air Colors,its a waterbased automotive paint AutoAirColors.com prep if dients and dings ain't to bad use a evercoat filler,or go and have them professional pulled out,take it down with about 320(if you want to go bare metal go with 36,primer,80 grit,primer builder,200-320,primer sealer,basecoat "champ white" in lite coats 4-6,800-1800dry/wet sand,clear,buff,wax)same steps if not wanting to take it down to bare metal just start with 320 grit and go from there.Materials,HVLP gun,air compressor.OH and tape up the stuff not wanting to be painted,odvisouly windows,wheels,headlights tailights,interior.

yes they stink,they don't make the smooth bends,they make bends like at a muffler shop "crush bent",you may want to look into a JD Model 3 these make smooth "mandrel" bends

yeah the wire you used for taking probly holds 80,000 psi.tensile strength,i read it in 1 of my welding books i could be wrong,they look like they penetrated good
